# Key Responsibilities
We're seeking individuals who can:
- Leverage open-source models and IBM foundation model libraries to deliver value to clients through data learning, validation, testing, and deployment
- Collaborate with clients to co-create solutions that address their business challenges
- Utilize IBM's AI & Data Platform, Watsonx, to design and implement solutions that address client business challenges

At least one of the following requirements must
1. Industry Expertise
- Possess specialized knowledge in a specific industry (e.g. finance, insurance, manufacturing, logistics)
- Have experience in systems proposal and construction (e.g. as a consultant or in a business data science department)
- Possess knowledge and expertise in building and deploying AI foundation models
- Ability to design, construct, and validate AI solutions for client business challenges
- Ability to conduct experiments and evaluate AI solutions using hands-on prototyping techniques
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
1. Research and Publication Experience
- Significant research experience in top-tier scientific conferences and journals, focusing on foundation models and large-scale machine learning models
- Strong leadership experience in open-source communities, with a proven track record of contributions
- Experience working as part of a team with multiple roles and organizations, tackling complex problems and delivering impactful solutions
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with others to achieve common goals
- Project management experience in system proposal and construction projects, with a focus on leading teams and delivering results
