Introduction
As an IBM Application Architect, you directly help clients transform their business and solve complex problems. You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of IBM platforms. You are a technical leader, serving as a liaison among business partners, technical resources, and project stakeholders.

Your Role and Responsibilities
Design, develop, implement and support the CIO Global Image application. You must be adept at problem solving, workflow analysis, interpersonal relations, and have good oral/written communications skills.
This role focuses on the elements required to manage all aspects of data and information (both structured and unstructured) from business requirements to logical and physical design. This role spans the full information management lifecycle from acquisition, cleanse, transform, classify and storage to presentation, distribution, security, privacy and archiving. The key responsibilities of the role include data technologies, file systems and storage management, taxonomies and business intelligence.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Java (J2EE, Spring, EJB, JPA/Hibernate, OpenJPA)
  • IBM Filenet Platform
  • Cloud and DevOps (IBM Cloud, Docker, Bash, Ant, Maven, Gradle, Git, Travis, SQL (DB2))

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Experience and knowledge on the following technologies would be a plus: JavaScript, Dojo Toolkit, XML, IBM WebSphere MQ, IBM Content Navigator, CMIS, TLS, sFTP, IBM Datacap, OpenShift, Watson Discovery, Amazon S3, IBM Cloud Object Storage
