The HR Service Payroll Specialist is an integral part of IBM and the French Payroll Team. Your goal is to create an outstanding employee experience for IBMers by delivering Payroll-related services and supporting our employees as they support our customers and clients. Help IBMers to build their career by providing them with a personalized experience. In this role, you can be part of a team that works with all areas of our global organization and is empowered to achieve goals that align with IBM strategy.

  • Run Payroll operations insisting on the highest Standards and with the highest controllership (ensuring that Payroll complies with internal policies and local legislations at all times)
  • Be an independent end-to-end Country Owner, taking ownership of escalations and driving issues to resolution
  • Drives internal projects for process improvements

  • Actively participates in SAP Success Factor implementation and testing phase

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

What you will bring to the team:

  • 2+ years of experience in Payroll supporting France
  • Fluent English and French
  • Advanced Excel (pivot tables, vlookup and other formulas)
  • Good analytical skills with high level of accuracy and attention to details

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

Experience with the following are bonus points, but not necessary, you can learn them at IBM:

  • Deep knowledge of termination and general administration procedures plus labor law
  • Familiar with SAP, Workday, ADP software
  • Experience with time and absence management
  • Sense of innovation
