Your Role and Responsibilities
The IBM Sustainability Software business unit is seeking talented and motivated Software Developers to work as a lead fullstack developer on ESG and Asset Management Suite. In this role, you will be responsible for enhancing & building new product capabilities. You'll closely collaborate with the broader Product Management, Design, Development & Support team using Scrum agile methodology. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to IBM's Environmental Intelligence Suite and help build AI powered actionable intelligence built on the world's most accurate weather data and petabytes of geospatial data that when harnessed can enable businesses to manage risks & plan for improved resiliency and efficiency.

• Total experience of 10+ years in SaaS Software Development
• Be involved and take ownership of the end-to-end delivery - from solution design, estimation, development, testing and deployment
• 8+ years experience designing, developing, deploying, debugging of Java / J2EE applications
• 6+ years experience with design & developing using Springboot
• 5+ years experience with design & developing micro-services using REST or GraphQL APIs
• 2+ years experience with developing using Python
• 3+ years experience in front-end development with strong skills in JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, TypeScript, Angular (version 8+)
• 6+ years experience with database systems including SQL or NoSQL data stores
• 3+ years Experience in development and design of CICD & other automation frameworks
• Experience on unit test and API Automation test development and execution
• Ability to write high-performance, reusable code, including appropriate testing
  • Ability to lead squads and coordinate multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Ability to conceptualize and interpret new architecture designs.
• Uphold quality standards including reliability, efficiency, security, maintainability and usability by applying best practice processes, methodologies and tools
• Proven oral/written communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task and re-prioritize under pressure
• Understanding of Agile Development principles and practices

• 4+ years of relevant experience with technologies like NoSQL DB , Git, Jenkins and build tools like Maven/Gradle is much preferred.
• 3+ years experience cloud-native technologies including Docker containers, Kubernetes orchestration, or OpenShift
• Familiarity with Cassandra, Mongo, ElasticSearch, Flink and/or Kafka.
• Familiarity with other programming models and open standards"
