IBM API Connect is a full-lifecycle API management solution that addresses critical aspects of the API lifecycle for both on-premises and cloud environments providing the capability to create, run, manage, secure, and socialize APIs.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a big impact by helping build a global development & support team that excels in delighting our customers.
This role specializes in performing and enabling the development and support of IBM software, hardware, and solutions.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in software development, which includes:.
- Java, J2EE, Go-Lang, Python, and JavaScript.
- Web application development using NodeJS, and server-side JavaScript, including test frameworks such as mocha.
- Social coding platforms like GitHub, Git CLI, and related tools.
- Cloud computing environments and applications (AWS, Azure).
- CI/CD processes and Jenkins or similar CI/CD tooling.
- Relational and NoSQL database management systems. - Excellent collaboration and problem-solving skills to work with multiple teams in the organization globally.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Unix, Linux operating systems, shell scripting.
- Container technologies (Docker and Kubernetes).
- Testing frameworks like Junit, and Mocha
- UI development experience e.g react
Passion for handling technical challenges - be goal and results-oriented. - Excellent communication skills and technical knowledge to advise and help customers with problems.
- Proven listening, detail-oriented thinking, and creative problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative global organization.
