Your Role and Responsibilities
You are a Full Stack Application Developer, who will Design, develop and/or re-engineer complex application components, and integrate software packages, programs and reusable objects residing on multiple platforms

Responsibilities:
As a Full Stack Application Developer, you will:
- Design, develop and/or re-engineer complex application components, and integrate software packages, programs and reusable objects residing on multiple platforms
- Build applications for IBMers around the world, demonstrating agile and dynamic software support capabilities
- Be responsible for maintenance and improvement of critical IBM internal applications
- Perform application development based on Agile methodologies & participate in requirements / user story analysis, design and execution
- Conduct appropriate unit and module testing; detect, report, investigate and fix defects in the application (production support)
- Continually focus on improving the application
- Work effectively in collaboration with other team members, partners and other support functions when required
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Programming Languages: Advanced proficiency in Java and Python with extensive experience in back-end development.
- Frameworks: Strong expertise in Django for building and managing complex web applications.
- Cloud Platforms: Proven experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including application deployment, scaling, and monitoring.
- Containerization: Deep understanding of Docker, including advanced usage and orchestration.
- CICD Tools: Extensive experience in CI/CD pipeline management (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD) and automation.
- Version Control: Expert-level proficiency with Git, including experience with branching strategies and leading code reviews.
- APIs: Strong experience building, consuming, and managing RESTful APIs.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Front-End Frameworks: Familiarity with front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js) for full-stack development.
- DevOps & Automation: Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, including infrastructure as code (IaC) with Terraform or Ansible.
- Microservices Architecture: Familiarity with microservices and service-oriented architecture.
- Advanced Testing: Experience with test-driven development and automation frameworks.
- Project Leadership: Ability to lead technical projects, including requirements gathering and timeline management.
- Excellent Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
