Your role and responsibilities
- User Experience Design: Champion user needs while balancing business objectives and technology constraints to create intuitive UX and visually appealing UI.
- Workshop Facilitation: Facilitate Design Thinking workshops to uncover insights and build consensus. Assist Senior Design Consultants by managing group dynamics, ensuring progress, and focusing on targeted outcomes.
- Collaboration for Success: Work with business analysts, system analysts, engineers, project managers, client executives, and users to ensure successful project delivery.
- Design Validation: Conduct or facilitate validation and testing of design concepts with users, and consolidate user testing reports.
- Solution Proposal Development: Collaborate with Experience Strategists to conduct market and user research, applying IBM frameworks to craft tailored solutions that solve clients' specific business challenges.

Required technical and professional expertise
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, a related discipline, or a non-design degree with design bootcamp training.
- A portfolio demonstrating a strong understanding of user-centered design principles and practices.
- At least 3 years of experience in UX design. Proficiency with Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Solid knowledge of product design and development processes.
- Proven ability to analyze and synthesize ambiguous business or experience requirements.
- Experience working in a client-facing environment with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Mandarin proficiency. Good command of English.
Preferred technical and professional experience
- Expertise in creating UX deliverables such as user journeys, experience blueprints, personas, and user research reports.
- Strong storytelling and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively present and sell ideas to clients.
- Familiarity with design workshop techniques and experience facilitating diverse groups to achieve desired outcomes.
- Experience in the financial services industry or Fin-Tech is a plus.
