Your Role and Responsibilities

The IBM Client Innovation Centre (CIC): Monroe occupies a unique position in the IT marketplace - at the intersection of business and technology.
In this role, you'll work in our IBM Client Innovation Center (CIC), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. These delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
As a member of our team, you will help IBM clients solve some of their most challenging business problems, capitalize on market opportunities and achieve real value in today's tough economy.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Have an Associate's Degree, College Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or Master's Degree by date of employment
- Be willing and able to live and work in Monroe, with some travel anticipated
- Have a sense of urgency in satisfying project deliverables for client success
- Required Professional and Technical Expertise:
- You have the ability to work in an Agile, collaborative environment
- You have an understanding of what user requirements are
- You have exposure to capturing/documenting user requirements
- You have an understanding of prioritizing requirements based on importance and resource constraints (i.e. time, schedule, scope, and/or cost)
- You have an understanding of the software development life cycle
- Good communication skills
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- You have exposure to conveying/translating user requirements to technical requirements for developers
- Experience with capturing and documenting current state and future state of an application or system
- Experience with documenting what needs to be true to get from current state to future state
- Experience with kanban boards and user stories
- Experience with converting user requirements to agile user stories
