Your Role and Responsibilities
IBM is a Consulting and Technology market leader leveraging AI and Hybrid Cloud technologies to help clients transform their organizations. The Marketing Communications and Citizenship (MCC) team work in service of the business priorities to educate the market on our capabilities, to build and enhance relationships with clients, prospects and business partners and to generate demand for our Consulting and Technology capabilities.

We do that in the European, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region with a team of dedicated experts and specialists in different MCC disciplines ranging from External Relations and Brand Specialists to Field Marketing, and Event and Experience Specialists.

For this team we are looking for curious technology and business savvy specialists who want to start their career in technology and services marketing. Come and join the team. You will spend 12 months on different assignments, rotating across different disciplines, working from the country you located in and working for a number of other countries in EMEA and learning a ton!

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Responsibilities:
Event Planning and Management
• Conceptualization: Develop event concepts aligned with brand goals.
• Budget Management: Create and manage event budgets.
• Logistics Coordination: Oversee venue, catering, and transportation.
• Vendor Management: Negotiate and manage vendor contracts.
• On-site Management: Supervise event setup, execution, and teardown.
Marketing and Promotion
• Campaign Development: Design and implement marketing campaigns.
• Content Creation: Create event invitations and promotional materials.
• Audience Engagement: Develop strategies to engage attendees.
Strategic Planning and Analysis
• Goal Setting: Define event objectives and KPIs.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on event performance.
• ROI Analysis: Assess event ROI for future planning.
Collaboration and Team Leadership
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with sales, product, and creative teams.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor event coordinators.
• Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear communication with stakeholders.
Compliance and Risk Management
• Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations.
• Risk Management: Develop contingency plans for potential risks.
Innovation and Trends
• Industry Trends: Stay updated on event and marketing trends.
Innovative Solutions: Implement new solutions to enhance event experiences.
