Introduction
We are seeking an experienced IBM Cloud Specialist to serve as a liaison between our cloud-based clients and our support team. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of IBM Cloud technologies and services, along with strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills. This role requires someone who can effectively translate technical information into business benefits and vice versa.
Your role and responsibilities
1. Act as a primary point of contact for clients, providing expert advice and guidance on IBM Cloud solutions.
2. Work closely with IBM Cloud support teams to ensure client issues are resolved efficiently.
3. Manage client expectations and communicate service updates effectively.

4. Assist in the design, development, and deployment of cloud solutions based on client requirements.
5. Provide training and support to clients on IBM Cloud technologies.

Required technical and professional expertise
Required Skills:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as an IBM Cloud Specialist or similar role.
3. In-depth knowledge of IBM Cloud services, including but not limited to, Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), and IBM Cloud Functions.
4. Experience in managing and deploying applications on the IBM Cloud platform.
5. Familiarity with containerization technology (e.g., Docker) and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes).
6. Strong understanding of cloud architecture, security practices, and compliance requirements.
7. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
8. Proven track record of working as a liaison between clients and support teams.
9. Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
Preferred technical and professional experience
Preferred Skills:
1. Certifications in IBM Cloud technologies.
2. Experience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git).
3. Knowledge of microservices architecture and serverless computing.
4. Experience with data management and analytics on the cloud.
5. Understanding of Agile methodologies and their application in cloud projects.
6. Fluency in more than one language (besides English).
7. Experience in managing and optimizing cloud costs.
