Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Data Scientist, you will:
- Development and deployment of advanced machine learning models to drive business insights and decision-making.
- Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable data science solutions.
- Mentor junior data scientists and provide technical guidance on data analysis, modeling techniques, and best practices.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate machine learning models into production systems.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in data science, with a focus on machine learning and statistical analysis.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, or Scala, and data science libraries such as Pandas, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
- In depth understanding of machine learning algorithms and techniques, including supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, and reinforcement learning.
- Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Proven communication skills and the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as IBM Cloud and Cloud Pak for Data.
