Your Role and Responsibilities

We are seeking a seasoned Cryptography and Quantum-Safe Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and integration of secure cryptographic environments that are resilient to quantum computing threats. This hybrid role combines strategic architecture responsibilities with hands-on engineering tasks, requiring deep expertise in classical and quantum-safe cryptography, as well as experience with tools such as Thales CipherTrust, Entrust, and/or KeyFactor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Architecture: Lead the design and development of quantum-resistant cryptographic systems, ensuring secure communication, data integrity, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Environment Setup and Integration: Configure and integrate cryptographic tools (Thales CipherTrust, Entrust, KeyFactor) into existing IT infrastructures, ensuring seamless and secure operations.
  • System Implementation: Implement quantum-safe cryptographic solutions, including key management and encryption, while preparing for future security challenges.
  • Tool Evaluation and Selection: Evaluate and select cryptographic tools and technologies that meet project requirements and enhance the organization's security posture.
  • Testing and Validation: Conduct testing and validation of cryptographic environments to ensure security, performance, and compatibility.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation and provide regular updates on the status of cryptographic projects.
  • Security Assurance: Collaborate with security teams to audit and enhance cryptographic systems, focusing on key management and quantum safety.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • 3+ years in cryptography with a focus on technical solutions.
    • Proven experience with Thales CipherTrust, Entrust, or KeyFactor, including setup, configuration, and integration.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Expertise in cryptographic architecture, key management, and system integration.
    • Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
    • Familiarity with quantum-resistant algorithms and cloud-based cryptographic services.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong problem-solving and communication abilities.
    • Leadership skills with a strategic mindset for security innovation

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Preferred Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or GIAC with a focus on cryptography.
