Your Role and Responsibilities

The role entails being a key member of the CHQ Global Security Technology Team, which helps shape IBM Corporate Security's strategy for implementing technology to achieve key security objectives. This involves overseeing and coordinating the entire lifecycle of assigned projects, from Project Initiation to Project Execution, completion, and closure. Responsibilities include leading stakeholder identification, requirements documentation, and production of RFI or RFP documentation, as well as overseeing the RFI/RFP processes. This role also involves coordination with finance, procurement, Legal and Compliance representatives for adequate solution budgeting and evaluating and scoring proposals from vendors.

Furthermore, the role involves the development and maintenance of RAID matrices and registries for assigned projects, adhering to project governance processes and procedures, and maintaining RAID inputs and project reports through engagement with the senior leadership team and all stakeholders. Additionally, the role involves the development and execution and control of Change Management, Communication, Reporting and Training plans, as well as delivery and support of technology projects and budget planning for the year, site assessments, fit-ups, and budget spending requests review for the geography are a necessity.

As a senior professional, you will provide advice and recommendations to the Geo Director on strategies, priorities, and technology evolution in the market working in alignment with the Global Technology team's strategic roadmap. This includes serving as a Subject Matter Expert for all technical deployments of security systems within the Geo area of responsibility, reviewing CapEx plans, and managing all technical projects to successful delivery of cost, scope, and time and keep senior management informed of all security technology activities within the Geo

Overall, the role requires ensuring continued innovation focus, driving ongoing productivity enhancements, incorporating global integration and on-demand strategies, and identifying and prioritizing business technology needs. It involves defining and communicating technology requirements to service providers, working with cross-functional colleagues to determine appropriate business technology strategy, and managing and directing complex programs.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

This role demands a strong understanding of modern technology stack in physical security systems with experience working within a Global Enterprise environment, encompassing both on-premises technologies and cloud deployments. The ideal candidate should possess demonstrable experience in understanding the parameters and trade-offs essential for ensuring uninterrupted system operations, particularly focusing on resilience and migration activities. Moreover, expertise in building and maintaining solutions spanning internal and external Hybrid Cloud deployments is highly desirable.

Proficiency in financial planning and forecasting is crucial in order to provide technology planning and forecasting to the geography. The candidate should be capable of showcasing innovative approaches to resolving blockers for adoption efficiently. Additionally, experience in multi-country, remote security project management, as well as solution sourcing and delivery, is essential. Lastly, proficiency in remotely managing vendor, client, and stakeholder relationships is a key requisite required for this role.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

'The Geo Security Technical Program Manager acts as the Subject Matter Expert for all technical deployments of security systems within the Geo area of responsibility. This includes reviewing CapEx plans and overseeing the delivery of all technical projects to ensure successful execution and management of cost, scope, and time. Additionally, they will require to possess the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently, meeting strict deadlines amidst varying conflicting business demands.

Knowledge of maintaining compliance with applicable standards and guidelines for the department as we as those coming in via corporate CIO team.
Experience of serving as a key member of a Global Security Technology Team acting as a liaison between Corporate Security technical and Geo Security Operations teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across teams.

Identifying and prioritising business technology needs based off senior leadership guidance and strategic direction, executing approved compliant solutions, and defining technology requirements as integral parts of their responsibilities.

Develop detailed business cases management of cross-functional resources and communication of progress to key stakeholders.

Experience related to operations, business controls, expense management, and strategy implementation
Exceptional interpersonal skills, capability of negotiating with and influencing global teams and senior stakeholders effectively.

Strong skills in capturing and presenting documented reports on system designs and capabilities at a senior level.
Managing project closures, overseeing systems assessments, testing, deployment, attestations, and implementation of technologies across multiple sites and geographies.
