Your Role and Responsibilities
The Cloud Software Developer role requires a well-organized, action-oriented team player with exceptional time management and strong written and oral communication skills to drive customer facing support issues in a fast-paced environment. As a Cloud Application Development and Integration Support Engineer, the candidate will be responsible to ensure our SaaS offering is meeting our SLOs. The candidate will engage in all aspects of providing world class customer support. This role specializes in helping our customers resolve issues using our products such as Blockchain, APIc, IOT, APPConnect. The role requires excellent collaboration with team members, other IT organizations, key stakeholders and business partners to meet the needs of the business as well as that of the customers.

• experience in level 2 customer service software support
• experience in Unix shell scripting
• Working knowledge of Linux/Unix
• Knowledge of Cloud software monitoring in a Software as a Service (SaaS) environment
• Knowledge of business analytics and cognitive computing
• Knowledge of Docker containers

• Experience with Relational Databases (IBM DB2, Oracle) as well as NoSQL (MongoDB, Postgres)
• Knowledge of PaaS, IaaS (Softlayer), and virtualization technologies
• Knowledge in J2EE Application Servers - IBM WebSphere AS, JBoss, or Tomcat
• Programming experience with Java, Go, or Python
• Ability to both work independently as well as in a team environment
• Ability to organize and prioritize multiple work assignments
