Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Brand Technical Specialist, you'll be the go-to subject matter expert, collaborating with colleagues across the wider Sales team - advising and supporting on client engagements throughout the entire sales process.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Client Strategy Development: Develop client strategies for IBM Cloud infrastructure and applications.
- Solution Definition: Define compatible IBM Cloud solutions.
- Proof of Concept Creation: Provide proof of concepts and simplify complex technical concepts for client understanding.
- Stakeholder Relationship Building: Build credibility and trust with stakeholders to facilitate the closing of complex Cloud technology deals.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Demonstrated expertise in navigating the intricacies of the heavily regulated public sector (SLED and HCLS), adeptly leveraging consultative selling techniques to deliver technology solutions tailored to complex use-cases.
- Experience with Cloud Market.
- Business Goal Translation: Translate business goals into effective tech solutions.
- Tech Strategy Collaboration: Collaborate on tech strategies for business success.
- Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Stakeholder Influence: Proven track record of influencing diverse senior stakeholders.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Cloud Market Knowledge: Proficiency in cloud market knowledge to provide trusted client advice (training on IBM's Hybrid Cloud offerings will be provided).
