Your role and responsibilities

Business Transformation Consultant - Business Intelligence, IBM Corporation, Denver, CO (Up to 100% telecommuting permitted):

  • Support cross-functional business and IT teams in supporting the assigned client's health care policy and finance project. Collaborate, and integrate code into enterprise systems.
  • Identify, design, code, debug tasks necessary to develop Data Warehouse/Mart and Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) BI solutions.
  • Write code that can be easily maintained, reused, and tested, by adhering to coding standards and including detailed code documentation.
  • Work with QA personnel to develop and carry out test plans to ensure that Data Warehouse/Mart and ETL BI solutions are the highest quality.
  • Work with solution architects and other database personnel to design logical and physical database models to support present and future Data Warehouse/Mart and Extract, Transform and Load BI needs.
  • Work with interface operations support personnel to assist in triage when integration issues arise.
  • Develop detailed technical and user documentation that will facilitate support for developed Data Warehouse/Mart and Extract, Transform and Load BI solutions.
  • Utilize: Cognos, Structured query language (SQL), Python, Tableau, and Framework Manager.

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
