Your Role and Responsibilities
As Business Analyst, you will serve as a client-facing practitioner who sells, leads and implements expert services utilizing the breadth of IBM's offerings and technologies. A successful Consultant is regarded by clients as a trusted business advisor who collaborates to provide innovative solutions used to solve the most challenging business problems.
You will work on projects that help clients integrate strategy, process, technology, and information to increase effectiveness, reduce costs and improve profit and shareholder value. You can take advantage of opportunities to master new skills, work across different disciplines, move into new challenges and develop a robust understanding of different industries.

The mission consists in performing IT business analysis work for key compliance projects, specifically on projects related to client name screening, GoAML regulation, and client account blocking.

Your primary responsibilities include:

  • Reporting to the head of IT Compliance and Risk, the consultant will work on key compliance project.
  • Understand the business needs and IT impacts in relevance to various Compliance/regulatory subjects
  • Review or prepare business requirements, assist and validate the functional and technical specifications related to the processes and involved applications/systems.
  • Strong technical analysis skills, proficient working knowledge of SQL, holistic understanding of a technical applicative architecture.
  • Coordinate with the project managers, business analysts, developers and business departments
  • Prepare and lead workshops
  • Follow-up on tests preparation and execution (SIT and UAT)
  • Assist and train users in the project implementation as well as after the project go live

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Extensive regulatory and compliance banking experience
  • Strong Business Analysis experience, including requirements analysis and specifications writing
  • Proficiency in SQL and a holistic understanding of technical applicative architecture
  • Ability to understand business needs and IT impacts related to compliance and regulatory subjects
  • Experience in reviewing or preparing business requirements and validating functional and technical specifications
  • Strong technical analysis skills
  • Proven ability to coordinate with project managers, business analysts, developers, and business departments
  • Experience in preparing and leading workshops
  • Experience in test preparation and execution (SIT and UAT)
  • Ability to assist and train users in project implementation and post-go-live support
  • Fluent in English and French
  • Swiss nationality or valid Swiss work permit / EU passport
