Your Role and Responsibilities
We are looking for a highly motivated individual for a Business Analyst role. The ideal candidate will have a passion for solving problems and understanding the nuances of how business operations are structured. Ultimately, this role is all about providing exceptional service to our client and delivering an outstanding experience. This Business Analyst role for the project involves regular interaction with the client team and coordinating various business specific activities to create desk top procedures and workflows using CoBee and Visio. This role will also help to manage the IBM team co-ordination and reporting for and with the client experience.
Your primary responsibilities include:
- Partner with our Client's Business Process Management Team and various process SMEs to create process documents including cross-functional process maps, desktop procedures and procedure-supporting maps to assist in the Client's process maturity & optimization efforts. Specific tasks include:
- Attending knowledge transfer demonstrations across various business Client business units,
- Utilize the knowledge gained in those sessions to create cross-functional, procedural, and end-to-end process maps using MS Visio,
- Train on and use IBM's Cobee Tool to capture Client procedures and create clear & accurate documentation (DTPs),
- Communicate with Client SMEs on an ongoing basis to refine DTPs and maps to reach final approval.
- Schedule and follow-up activities after CoBee recorded sessions
- Connect regularly with SME for Streamlining DTP/Process Flow
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Ability to speak, read, write and edit proficiently in US business English.
- Excellent written communication skills to document complex processes in an accessible way for various audiences.
- Highly organized, manage multiple projects and assignments independently.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines for process documentation projects.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation and process flows.
- Ability to develop, structure and format clear and detailed desktop procedures that align with organizational standards.
- Ability to analyze existing workflows, identify inefficiencies and suggest process improvements.
- Comfortable with aggressive deadlines and willingness to adapt processes as organizational needs evolve and the ability to apply feedback to improve documentation.
- Self-starter able to work independently with limited supervision.
- Good understanding of basic project management practices.
- Strong knowledge of Visio for creating process flows, diagrams and visual documentation.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint for data analysis, documentation and presentation.
- Experience delivering high-quality communications and reporting to business stakeholders.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Bachelor's Degree in IT/BCA/MCA or equivalent work 5 years of prior experience in DTP creation and or process documentation
- Have experience in transition processes and knowledge transfer
- Hands on experience with Visio tool or another process/workflow tool
- Knowledge of change management principles to support smooth implementation of new or updated procedures
