Your Role and Responsibilities
The Brand Marketing Team leads the development, evolution and expression of the IBM brand -bringing it to life through the creation of end-to-end advertising campaigns that drive engagement and brand equity for IBM.
The role involves working closely with agency partners, internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to enable the development of globally relevant creative and ensure alignment to the company-wide business and marketing objectives.

The role requires a firm grasp on creative strategy and planning across paid, owned and earned media, as well as a solid understanding of the advertising industry, rich storytelling techniques and agency management to enable the team to raise the creative bar and drive positive perception for the IBM brand.
IBM is looking for a Brand Manager, Brand Marketing to help build brand relevance through advertising. Responsibilities may include:
• Partner closely with media, brand, product marketing, sales, communications and other cross-functional teams
• Guide the development of an integrated approach to campaign planning
• Define the creative rotation and audience journey across the integrated campaign
• Consult on the localization of assets around the world
• Consult on the development of lower funnel creative assets
• Contribute to the development of brand guidelines
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
• 7+ years experience in marketing or advertising
• Experience at an advertising agency or with agency management
• Growth mindset with an appetite to experiment, fail fast in the spirit of ongoing learning and improvement
• Ability to problem solve, pivot and provide transparent communication in a fast-paced work environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with rigor around attention to detail
• Extremely strong organizational skills
• Intellectual curiosity and the desire to learn technical topics
• Collaborative, team player mentality with a passion for process improvement
• Ability to translate feedback across stakeholders into directional guidance for agency partners
• Ability to foster collaborative, long-term thinking that drives unification across multiple stakeholder groups.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
• Large public company or agency experience supporting large public company clients preferred
• Experience working with highly matrixed organizations
• Experience managing global campaigns
