We bring together IBM Cloud infrastructure and VMware technologies to simplify configuration and management with ease of moving VMware workloads from on-premise to the IBM Cloud. Qualified candidates will be responsible for:
- Developing and maintaining automation of software solutions in VMware environments
- Writing and executing unit, functional, and integration testcases
- Support integrating enterprise-grade complex VMware cloud environments
- Following compliant procedures and secure engineering best practices

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- 8+ years of experience with Python
- 8+ years of experience with system automation, scripting, and development
- 8+ years of experience with Postgres/any RDBMS/NoSQL databases
- 8+ years of experience with software engineering and testing
- 5+ year's experience in Microservices using Python Flask/Django
- 5+ year's experience in manging container/Pod in Kubernetes, Redhat openshift.
- 3-5 years of experience with Linux system administration or development
- Good communication skills in English
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- 5+ years of experience with Python, Go, or Elixir
- 5+ years of experience with RESTful APIs
- 5+ years of experience with GitHub issue and code management
- 3+ years of experience with Ansible
- 3+ years of experience with VMware administration
- 3+ years of experience with VMware API integration development
- 3+ years of experience with vRealize Operations/LogInsights
- 3+ years of experience with Cloud networking, including VMware NSX
- 3+ years of experience with IBM Cloud API integration development
- 3+ years of experience with Windows Active Directory administration or development
- 3+ years of experience with Windows SQL server administration or development
- 3+ years of experience with Jenkins build and platforms
- 3+ years of experience with Web UI development
- 3+ years of experience with networking, and network security components, firewalls, gateways
- 3+ years of experience with secure engineering principles and best practices
- 3+ years of experience with security standards, authentication, authorization, and encryption protocols
