Your Role and Responsibilities
Come join our L3 Support Engineering team to help tackle challenging technical issues in Watson Discovery and watsonx Orchestrate and design, develop and test code fixes. As a support engineer, you'll put the customer first and work closely with our software engineering teams to determine issues, identify root causes and ideate on solutions to delight our customers and keep our products running at the best of their ability!

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- 3 years experience in Software Support with Java, Python or C++
- 3 years experience with Linux systems
- 3 years experience with SQL databases
- Proven ability to identify, analyze, and resolve complex technical issues
- Exceptional communication skills to communicate technical information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experience with Java, Python or C++ developing backend applications
- Experience in Kubernetes and/or RedHat OpenShift clusters
- Experience with etcd, object stores and Postgres databases
- Effective prioritization and time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to manage customer expectations and provide timely updates
