Your Role and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement automation strategies: Create and execute automation testing plans and strategies that align with project goals and objectives.
• Design and develop automated scripts: Create and maintain automated scripts using various automation tools and programming languages.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure that automation activities and outputs are aligned with project requirements.
• Identify and report defects: Identify and report defects and issues in a timely manner, and work with the development team to resolve them.
• Create and maintain automation documentation: Develop and maintain plans, test cases, and other documentation to ensure that actions and outcomes are well-documented and repeatable.
• Provide training and mentorship: Train and mentor junior automation testers to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles effectively.
• Stay up to date with industry trends: Keep up-to-date with the latest automation testing tools, technologies, and best practices to ensure that testing activities are efficient and effective.
• Manage automation environments: Manage automation environments and ensure that they are properly configured and maintained to support automation activities.
• Provide testing metrics and reports: Provide regular metrics and reports to project stakeholders to ensure that they are informed about the progress and status.

• Skilled in Automation Framework Development such as Data-Driven etc.. using multiple programming languages
• Programming Skills : Strong experience in Python, Perl, Java, Selenium
• Ansible Automation Platform/Terraform et.al
• DevOps: CI/CD, Jenkins,
• Automation experience / knowledge on Azure, AWS, API
• Storage domain is added advantage.
• Web Services Testing (e.g. REST, SOAP)
• Database Testing (SQL, Oracle, MySQL)
• OS: Windows , RHEL, Unix, Linux

• Domain knowledge in Data protection and Storage space
• Familiarity with database and applications.
• Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift
