Your Role and Responsibilities
You will be joining the product management team behind the market-leading IBM MQ portfolio. This team is responsible for consistently delivering business results through high-quality products and continuous innovation. IBM MQ connects applications dynamically, securely, and reliably enabling thousands of businesses globally, and across all industries, to build loosely coupled, message and event driven applications at scale. It brings insights into business events, and empowers teams to innovate and deliver outstanding customer experiences.

In IBM, Product Managers are business leaders tasked with making strategic decisions to manage and grow the business. They manage the product lifecycle from inception through growth, maturity, and end of life stages and define partnership and ecosystem strategy for product execution. Product Managers maximize internal and external relationships interfacing with engineering, design, product marketing, ecosystem partners, analysts, sales, and services teams to deliver a successful product with defined routes to market.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- 3-5 years of industry experience in Product Management, preferably for Enterprise B2B products or SaaS products, managing product roadmaps, collaborating with engineering teams, and translating complex technical requirements into actionable product features
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- It is desirable for applicants to have familiarity and understanding of Cloud technologies. Understanding and experience with Event Driven technologies such as Message Queuing, Kafka, APIs, and Application Integration will be a plus.
