The selected candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams (including IT, Operations, and Business Units) to analyze, optimize, and innovate key banking processes. This role requires strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and a keen interest in leveraging digital tools to enhance efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with various departments to analyze and optimize banking processes.
• Assist in the identification of inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and improvement areas within operations.
• Support the implementation of digital transformation initiatives using structured frameworks such as IBM Garage.
• Contribute to the evaluation and prioritization of automation opportunities within key business areas.
• Work with data and process analysis tools to support decision-making.
• Engage in cross-functional teamwork with IT, Operations, and Business units to drive change.
• Participate in strategy discussions and planning sessions to align process improvements with business goals.
• Conduct research on market trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in banking and financial services.
• Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and business cases to support project recommendations.
• Support project execution by tracking progress, identifying risks, and suggesting mitigations.

Required technical and professional expertise
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
• Interest in digital transformation, automation, and process optimization in the banking sector.
• Basic understanding of banking operations, financial products, and industry regulations.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
• Problem-solving mindset with an ability to think critically and propose innovative solutions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with process analysis tools is a plus.
• Fluency in English and Spanish is highly desirable.
• Exposure to process mining tools, business intelligence, or data analytics is a plus.
• Knowledge of banking technology trends, such as automation, AI, and fintech innovations.
• Previous internship or experience in a banking, consulting, or financial services environment.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, evolving environments and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred technical and professional experience
• Recent graduates or early-career professionals seeking hands-on experience in banking and digital transformation.
• Analytical thinkers with a strong interest in efficiency, automation, and innovation.
• Passionate about improving banking operations and customer experience through technology and process optimization.
• Exposure to process mining tools, business intelligence, or data analytics is a plus.
• Knowledge of banking technology trends, such as automation, AI, and fintech innovations.
• Previous internship or experience in a banking, consulting, or financial services environment.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, evolving environments and manage multiple priorities.
• Master's degree (completed or in progress) in Banking, Finance, or Business Administration is preferred
