Your Role and Responsibilities
As an Associate Consultant at IBM, you will help IBM clients solve some of their most challenging business problems, capitalize on market opportunities, and understand leading technologies and the impact they can have on traditional business processes.

In this role, you may be responsible for:
- Learning and adopting consulting skills and business knowledge to effectively integrate packaged technology into the client's business environment.
- Translating client's business needs into business requirements and participating in the production of solutions to drive business value.
- Working with clients to refine or design their business strategy while working in an agile collaborative environment.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

- Track record of academic success. Highly motivated, with clear evidence of drive and significant achievements
- Ability to understand clients' needs and challenges, and apply creative and logical approach to identify solutions
- Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines, while maintaining focus in an environment with conflicting demands
- A passion for innovative ideas, coupled with the ability to understand and assimilate different points of view
- Exceptional quantitative and qualitative analysis skills and ability to derive recommendations informed by data and insights and experience mapping capabilities
- Powerful communication and storytelling skills, with an ability to communicate complex situations clearly and simply
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team environment, able to build direct working relationships across all levels of the IBM and client teams
- Openness to assist clients in the design, business architect, process development, functional implementation, and support of applications.
- Drive to overcome the most challenging or difficult obstacles and look for ways to improve results
