Your Role and Responsibilities
At IBM Cloudability, we deliver a best-in-class FinOps platform that helps customers enable their IT, finance, and DevOps teams to work together to optimize cloud resources for speed, cost, and quality. We are looking for outcome-focused, strategic thinkers to join our Product management team to help us continue to drive those customer results.

The Cloudability Product Management team is accountable to numerous stakeholders including customers, partners, engineering, sales, product marketing, and support, globally. This position will be responsible for leading our commitment automation products, enabling IBM Cloudability to continue to deliver outstanding results for our customers and expanding what we can deliver to continue to help our customers optimize their public cloud spend.

What you'll do:
  • Lead the strategy, customer discovery, and execution of Cloudability's commitment automation platform, Cloudability Savings Automation while working closely with other product managers, engineers, customer success to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Responsible for understanding the customer requirements along translating strategy into clear tactical priorities with measurable outcomes
  • Act as a consultant and SME to various sales engineers and peers and help in understanding solutions and feature behavior for various business use cases.
  • Participate in most phases of Product Development Life Cycle discovering, delivering and launching solutions to help customers meet their business objectives.
  • Architect and implement methodologies and test approaches that validate features and that ensure accuracy of quality requirements.
  • Develop performance benchmarks, monitor feature usage & test the software deployments to establish performance baselines to meet response time & scalability requirements.
  • Interface with the market, customers, and prospects to understand pain points and opportunities for innovation
  • Work across Delivery consultants, Sales, Support and Marketing to gather feedback and clarify product capabilities and strategy.
  • Maintain a current understanding of industry and technology trends.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use data and metrics to make recommendations and measure success.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • At minimum 5 years of technical software product management experience or equivalent developer experience
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong technical acumen
  • FinOps experience or strong experience in the major cloud provider's commitment-based discounts

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Experience managing automation products
