Your role and responsibilities
Application Database Administrator, IBM Corporation, Armonk, NY and various unanticipated client sites throughout the US (Up to 60% telecommuting permitted):
- Create an adoption roadmap for DevOps practices.
- Define business drivers for DevOps.
- Participate in design reviews to provide input for the design recommendations as well as input for information/data flow.
- Analyze business requirement, define development scope and develop technical specification documents.
- Code, test, modify, debug, document, and implement ETL and SQL.
- Incorporate IT control policies throughout design, development and testing for application design specifications.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications.
- Manage projects, identify/troubleshoot issues and review and provide feedback to the final user documentation.
- Work in SIT/UAT and production sessions to identify issues at integration testing and prepare problem statements.
- Utilize: Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Tools for Oracle Application Development (TOAD), SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL Profiler.

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
