Your Role and Responsibilities
As an Architect in IBM Consulting, you'll serve as a leader in defining solutions for clients. You'll be the advocate for the client while guiding the technical team to implementation.
You'll collaborate with client stakeholders and internal partners to understand the business problem and requirements, constraints of the system to facilitate, iterate and document the design and adoption of a hybrid cloud model.
Your primary responsibilities include:
- Strategic Advisory for Integrated Solutions: You will act as a trusted advisor aligned to industry trends that develops the framework and integrated solutions that meet the customer's business needs.
- Collaborative POC Execution and Solution Development: Collaborate with members of the client and IBMers team to define and execute proofs of concept and minimum viable solutions.
- Hands-On Solutions Architecture Ownership: Own the solutions architecture plan while being a "hands-on" builder in a client-facing engagement.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Advanced certifications in cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are a plus
- Extensive experience in cybersecurity architecture, IT infrastructure, or a related field.
- Experience managing large-scale projects, particularly in government, defense, or highly regulated industries are a plus.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., HERMES, PRINCE2, or PMP) and experience managing cross-functional teams and international stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS and hands-on experience with security tools, technologies, and infrastructure, including SOC, CERT, and CEA operations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Swiss or EU nationality/ Valid Work permit
- Fluent in German and English
