Your role and responsibilities
The Analytics and Quality Technologies group at IBM Research is looking for an outstanding research intern in the field of AI Quality software development. The goal is to do research and propose new tools that will improve the arsenal of AI quality assurance tools developed by IBM.

The successful candidate will join a team working on evaluation of code related LLMs and participate in leading edge research related to methods and solutions to improve machine learning (AI) models quality and control. We are looking for a candidate with passion for data and statistics, experience in coding and in Python and applying various statistics and machine learning techniques.
As intern at HRL you'll further have a chance to publish your work at top-tier peer reviewed conferences and journals, as well as file patents if applicable.
Our summer internship program offers you an opportunity to join our research team for a 3 months internship (working 5 days a week) in either Haifa or Tel Aviv sites (according to each internship). During the internship, you will be working with our talented researchers on top projects, helping create the next generation of AI, security, quantum, cloud and much more
Required education
Bachelor's Degree
Preferred education
Master's Degree
Required technical and professional expertise
- MS or PhD student in CS/EE or a field related to the internship
- Experience in coding preferably in Python
- Experience in applying ML models
- Strong interpersonal skills - team player, proactive, communicative
- Publication/s at top-tier peer-reviewed conference or journal are an advantage
