Your role and responsibilities
The IBM Product Manager role is focused on AI Agents Partnerships for IBM's market leading Agentic AI platform, watsonx Orchestrate. You will lead highly strategic technology partnership explorations from inception to successful deal closure, product integration and go to market.
As a senior Product Manager, you should be a recognized credible voice in the field of Agentic AI and Automation, be an expert at market and business analysis, product definition, product roadmap, pricing, ecosystem, channel strategy, strategic planning, competitive analysis, innovation and leading cross-functional teams. In this role you will define partnership and ecosystem strategy for watsonx Orchestrate product execution and manage the partner product creation and collaboration.
You will lead internal and external relationships, interfacing with design, product marketing, ecosystem partners, analysts, engineering, sales and services teams to deliver a successful partner-built product with optimized business models and defined routes to market while continuously innovating to achieve market leadership.
Your primary responsibilities include:
- Deep understanding of the watsonx Orchestrate product capabilities.
- Analysis of Competitor Market landscape and products.
- Strategic planning and execution of ecosystem and channel strategy.
- Identifying targets and outreach for various types of partners (ISVs, Data, GSI, etc.).
- Quickly gaining basic understanding of partner's products and priorities, to identify product synergies and partnership opportunities with IBM.
- Educating prospective partners on IBM product strategies (and associated technical underpinnings / architectures.
- Working with these partners and IBM Product Management to frame out strategic opportunities, evaluate potential partnership deal concepts, and scope required technical integrations and Proofs of Concepts.
- Successful partnering and deal creation via multiple creative business models, with assigned new, existing and/or emerging ISV, Data, business partners or clients.
- Establishing the commercial terms and leading negotiations.
- Drafting and executing NDA, MOU, Term Sheets, and definitive agreements.
- Synthetizing and presenting findings to senior IBM leadership as well as partner stakeholders.
- Establishing technical Product Integration plans and managing those plans with the Partner.
- Managing the Go to Market and business results for the partnership and facilitating Quarterly Business Reviews.

Required technical and professional expertise
- Undergraduate or Graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and minimum of 5+ years of experience in Enterprise/B2B Tech.
- Product Management / portfolio strategy experience in enterprise software.
- Expertise in generative AI and Agentic AI domain / market trends, specifically in context of enterprise AI Productivity software solutions.
- Strong communications, interpersonal, management and persuasion skills to drive partnership discussions and influence stakeholders (internal and external).
- Experience with complex commercial deal-making (either with strategic partners and/or enterprise clients.
Preferred technical and professional experience
- Experience with IBM Watsonx or other enterprise Data & AI software, machine learning and natural language processing.
- Familiarity with prevalent CRM, ERP, and HCM systems.
- Proven success record and experience engaging with ecosystem partners.
- Ability to personally build and deliver technical PoCs / Demos.
