Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Lead the technical architecture and design of ibm.com engineering projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
  • Provide expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and integrations, guiding the team in implementing solutions that optimize AEM capabilities.
  • Serve as a product owner for integrations, owning the end-to-end lifecycle from requirements gathering to implementation and maintenance, for search, ecommerce, tsp and other connected applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, and stakeholders to define technical requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
  • Conduct code reviews, performance optimizations, and provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
  • Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in web development and integration to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, offering support and guidance on technical issues and challenges as they arise.
  • Lead and participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives to ensure effective project delivery.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 10 years experience in web engineering, with a focus on technical architecture and design.
  • Proven expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and integrations, with a strong understanding of AEM components, templates, and workflows. Experience on AEM CaaS, managing the overall deployment cycle including Code Review, Build and Dispatcher configurations is a must.
  • Experience in Search and External Search Provider Integrations with AEM. Knowledge of ElasticPath, SOLR and other search providers.
  • Experience in working with CDNs: Akamai and Fastly, with relevant skills for defining the caching strategy to handle the high external traffic volume.
  • Experience in SSO and SAML integrations with AEM and Adobe Cloud.
  • Solid understanding of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular.
  • Experience with API integrations, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms/
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment, with a deep understanding of Agile principles and practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards addressing technical challenges.
  • Relevant certifications in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and integration technologies are a plus.
