Your Role and Responsibilities
- The ACE (IIB) & MQ Administrator will be part of a team that provides implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of our client 's ACE & MQ environments.
- The administrator will be responsible for collaborating with members of our Technical Delivery Teams and Architecture teams to support and improve the delivery of managed services.
- This is a critical infrastructure role on business-critical services that require team support 24x7 365. A support model is in place to cover the 24x7 requirement across administrators with shared standby and overtime responsibilities.

- The build, deployment, support, and performance of systems
- Maintaining compliance to avoid data loss and unauthorized access

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Bachelor's degree in computer science
- 8+ years of relevant experience on MQ infrastructure administration
- Master level IBM ACE architecture, administration, performance and tuning
- Experience in integration between IBM ACE and SAP
- Experience in queue manager configuration and load balancing, security management (OAM), performance and tuning
- Experience in HA clusters for MQ
- Experience in Managed File Transfers (MFT)
- Experience with MQ in AIX, Red Hat Linux (RHEL) and Windows servers
- Experience installing, patching, and upgrading MQ and IBM ACE
- Configuration, deployments and vulnerability remediation in multi-tier environments with firewalls, load balancers, and high availability solutions
- Knowledge and ability to design and improve organizational IT structures in order to improve the business operation support
- Experience with management of SSL, TLS, data encryption and certificates
- Experience in working with global teams, with people from several locations
- Coordination with external groups to acquire new strategies where they can achieve business goals
- Tests and develops infrastructure capability for newly developed projects and presents a support service for these areas
- Mentoring and leadership for a team of less experienced ACE/MQ administrators
- Be able to solve complex problems and have real experience in installation, configuration, high availability, root cause analysis, performance tuning and security & compliance activities
- Autonomy to work without supervision, targeting to achieve agreed-upon goals and with an innovative mindset
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Provide assistance through different communication channels, such as ticketing system, remote session and email
- Send first response for all your incoming cases, validating their business impact and priority, adhering to the corresponding SLAs, and aligning the expectations about next steps and communication
- Analyse, research and document your troubleshooting advances on all your assigned cases and service requests
- Act as a key contributor in the creation of squad documentation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability and experience to support a 24x7 environment including standby and overtime activities
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Master's degree in software engineering
- Red Hat, zLinux, AIX and Windows Administration experience
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Familiarity with productivity tools such as Jira, Slack and Service Now
