Your Role and Responsibilities
As an Accountant, you will work under the direction of the Senior Manager of Revenue Accounting and Reporting and perform accounting staff functions. This position will exercise a high level of independence, accountability, teamwork, good judgement and attention to detail. You are a strong communicator with exceptional technical strength that can provide proactive guidance. You have a strong background in generally accepted accounting principles and internal controls. As you progress, opportunities to take on additional responsibilities will exist.

• Assist in the preparation of internal and external reporting
• Support month-end close processes including preparing monthly journal entries and reconciliations
• Assist Sales Operations in determining contract structure to optimize key reporting metrics
• Create and maintain documentation on processes and procedures related to assigned areas
• Assist the Senior Manager of Revenue Accounting and Reporting on technical accounting matters for significant transactions and compliance with new accounting standards, including summarizing and recommending appropriate accounting approaches to management and preparing accounting memos.
• Manage compliance with our internal controls process, including identifying areas for improvement and assisting in the design and documentation of new controls or modification of existing controls.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
• Experience of technical GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
• Minimum 3+ years' work experience, preferably in the technology sector.
• Education in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
• Public accounting firm experience with a Big 4 accounting firm working with a mix of private and public company clients
• A solid understanding of the concepts of internal control design and operational effectiveness
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of management
• Superior organizational, process management and communication skills and strong attention to detail
• Advanced time-management skills to handle multiple deliverables simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-growth and rapidly changing environment. We're looking for an individual who can learn complex processes quickly and take on new tasks including leading projects, while also managing recurring functions
• Great problem solving and analytical skill to analyze information, draw conclusions and develop actionable recommendations
• Must demonstrate excellent leadership skills and maintain the highest level of ethical standards
