As Director CenterWell Strategy you will collaborate closely with CenterWell leaders and provide strategic guidance building CenterWell-wide strategic plans and objectives, and helping to operationalize those plans. Day-to-day activities will include serving as a liaison to cross-functional groups, driving high level financial modeling, and qualitative analysis and synthesis of strategic options to create executive-level deliverables and recommendations for CenterWell senior leaders and Board..

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working with CenterWell's leadership team to establish and communicate overarching strategy
  • Working with CW leadership to advance and operationalize strategic projects
  • Lead, manage and coordinate the execution of strategic initiatives. These initiatives are strategic and highly visible in nature, highly complex, and involve creation and oversight of multifaceted teams, including those related to ongoing CenterWell integration.
  • Coordinate all CenterWell-wide deliverables required for internal and external communication (including to the Humana Board of Directors), ensuring consistency of vision and timely execution.
  • Convert strategy into business cases and projects while prioritizing timelines and ensuring consensus and execution

The incumbent will be a dynamic leader who has worked in strategy development at a top tier strategy consulting firm or in a large corporation, has financial modeling experience and great attention to detail. The incumbent will have a demonstrated ability to influence peers and business leaders. This person must be comfortable with ambiguity and able to work collaboratively with key leaders.

The incumbent will also will be effective at moving projects from strategy to execution and possess keen change management skills.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master of Business Administration or related Master's degree
  • A minimum of three years post MBA consulting or corporate strategy experience
  • Proven experience developing board-ready material and planning for strategic annual meetings for executives and Board of Directors
  • Proven experience with conceptual and structural problem-solving with ability to leverage management consulting frameworks and tools (i.e. competitive analysis, strategy road map, strategic investment prioritization)
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills with proven ability to apply foundational strategy principles to a variety of business problems and transition to execution
  • Proven experience working directly with and presenting to Executive level management
  • Ability to identify, structure and solve business problems
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and oral communication and presentation skills with proven experience writing and delivering presentations
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with senior leadership internally and externally

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Leadership experience at top-tier strategy consulting firm or Fortune 500 corporate strategy team
  • Experience working in healthcare industry, preferably payer or provider space
  • Financial Modeling experience

Additional Information:

  • Remote role; Louisville, KY and Washington, DC are preferred locations.
  • < 20% out of state travel expected in role

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$164,700 - $226,600 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
