Staff Technical Leads are highly productive, impactful, and trusted engineers who leverage their skills and knowledge to work autonomously on the most complex projects and set technical direction. The Data Visualization Group focuses on enhancing the infrastructure that enables CRM teams to seamlessly integrate backend services, ensuring efficient and scalable data flow.

What You'll Do:

• Hands-on Engineering: Architect, code, and perform code reviews, contributing to our microservices-based GraphQL infrastructure.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, UX, and frontend teams to build new features and ensure alignment across teams.
• Mentorship & Leadership: Mentor and lead a small team of engineers, with the goal of growing the team and nurturing the next generation of engineering leaders.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the technical strategy and development of our GraphQL Middleware services.
• Work with product managers and UX designers to build new features for backend consumers and improve service observability and reliability.
• Develop strategies for scaling and improving the performance of our GraphQL infrastructure, integrating with micro services, and eventually moving towards RPC and code less integrations.
• Foster a high-performing team culture by mentoring engineers, providing technical guidance, and ensuring continuous improvement.
• Partner with multiple teams and stakeholders across the company, including Senior Product Managers, Staff Engineers, and Technical Leads from frontend and backend teams.
• Advocate for technical best practices, improve system reliability, and drive the GraphQL infrastructure roadmap forward.
