These customers are our largest, most strategic customers and have the most complex use cases for our products. The team and role
HubSpot is looking for an experienced Solution Architect to join our growing team of Success Solution Architects. Success Solution Architecture is a global team that partners with HubSpot's Customer Success Management team and collaborates with HubSpot customers to share knowledge, best practices and make recommendations to continuously innovate front-office tech stacks that solve for Marketing, Sales and Service teams. We are HubSpot product experts, and we enable HubSpot's global growth by ensuring the technical foundation and continued adoption of existing customers. We share our technical and product expertise with customers through presentations, demonstrations, technical evaluations, and ongoing recommendations on HubSpot and industry best practices. We drive usage, retention and plant seeds for new subscription growth.
In this role you will:
- Define advanced CRM technical solutions to solve our Enterprise customer's complex challenges
- Become a HubSpot product and technical subject matter expert
- Work closely with a team of aligned Customer Success Managers to drive usage and retention across their book of business.
- Activities include collaborating on Success Plans, delivery of Executive Business Reviews and growing technical stakeholder relationships
- Create proof of concepts to demonstrate solution viability
- Examples include mapping business requirements to CRM data models, creating verticalized best practice examples, creating sample reports that highlight marketing ROI, or showing what's possible with CRM UI customization with React.js
- Proactively identify integration and technical architecture opportunities and make recommendations for customers to grow deeper with HubSpot
- Define long term technical and strategic platform roadmaps to help our customers integrate HubSpot deeper into their business processes and go-to-market technology stack
- Recommend the right internal and external services resources to execute on the roadmap
- Communicate and build relationships with senior technical and business customer stakeholders
- Drive critical KPIs including integrations, usage, retention and attached professional and partner services
To excel in this role you will need:
- 5+ years experience in a customer-facing technical consultative role (i.e. solutions architect, sales engineer, technical consulting, technical account manager) where you lead technical strategy conversations or projects
- Be fluent in English and Spanish, fluent in English and Portuguese or fluent in all three.
- Technical expertise in CRM, marketing automation, or technical SaaS related customer experience applications.
- Have the ability to turn marketing and sales strategy into technical recommendations
- Technical architecture experience that solves customer business challenges with multi-faceted technology
- The ideal candidate will have a blend of experience using some of the following technical skills and technologies:
- Reactive JavaScript (React, Vue, Svelte etc) or programming
- Hands on experience using HTTP and REST APIs
- Integration architecture and knowledge of integration, reverse ETL or CDP platform tooling (e.g. Segment, Census, Workato, Make)
- Relational Database Systems or data warehouse
- Excellent communication skills with expertise explaining complex, technical concepts to all levels of users
- Strong business acumen (running effective discovery, quickly understanding a business and go-to-market model, crafting business-relevant recommendations) with a history of success owning enterprise segment customer engagements
- Customer focused consultative, problem solving, and issue resolution skills
- Curiosity and a constant desire to learn as HubSpot's platform expands to new markets and technology segments
