  • HubSpot's ecosystem is forecast to grow faster than HubSpot, and its products and services are expected to be more than 6x bigger than HubSpot by 2024. You will play a key role designing a connected journey to get the right offering to the right customer at the right time from this ever-expanding ecosystem
  • You will work on the Conversion team. The goal is to make it easy for users to understand, evaluate, and convert on offerings within the marketplace
  • This is a highly collaborative role as you will be not only working closely with the Marketplace Discovery team, but also with product team's all around HubSpot, ensuring marketplace offerings are readily available where our customers spend their time
Here's what success in your role looks like
  • A habitual response to communicate ideas visually for all stages of the design process and levels of fidelity. This could look like blue-sky product design ideas, synthesizing a team ideation workshop, early wires/ideas for project kick-offs, rough wireframes, high-fi prototypes, etc.
  • A daily practice utilizing a principals-based design foundation with strengths in Visual design and UI interaction
  • Contribute to a shared strategy, vision, and clear roadmap for the future of this product area with your product management and engineering peers
  • Understand your customer to build compelling journey scenarios, information architecture, interaction flows, and visual designs
  • A proactive approach to communication, problem-solving, requesting feedback early and often, and dedication to continuous improvement
  • Work autonomously and with customer experience in mind, using our Canvas design system
  • Champion scalable documentation efforts and contributed to knowledge sharing within the team, ensuring clear guidelines and facilitating effective collaboration and communication
  • Provide fast feedback loops to ensure valuable insights are gained within shorter timeframes, reducing project debt and enabling timely decision-making
  • Actively involve cross-product groups and partner with other teams to ensure comprehensive solutions and consistency across a connected HubSpot journey
You'll love this role if you
  • Like & practice UI / visual design skills in a SaaS product
  • Think in journeys
  • Like debating and discussing UI details with sound design principles-based reasoning
  • Put customers at the center of everything you do
  • Thrive when communicating visually
  • Can project manage the design work. This means communicating and balancing scope, speed, and quality to reach outcomes that match business priorities
  • Like collaborating with other awesome designers on an ever-gaining-momentum opportunity
  • Enthusiasm for breaking down product team silos to mimic the customer experience
  • Like big problems that involve multiple dimensions and players
  • Can control the whole design process, from finding new ideas to making high-quality screens to working with engineers to get the details right
  • Share our HEART values and practice a growth mindset

One more thing you should know...

There's a lot of research showing how marginalized groups of people may not apply for jobs unless they meet 100% (or more!) of the qualifications. We also know that many UX folks come from backgrounds with different experiences that might not seem "standard"-and that's okay! We really value people who bring unique perspectives and add new knowledge to our team.

But you might not feel like you "check all the boxes" as you read this job post. We get it. And we feel these things ourselves, too. But we hope you'll apply anyway because we'll take great care in working with you.

We know the confidence gap and imposter syndrome can get in the way of meeting spectacular candidates, so please don't hesitate to apply - we'd love to hear from you.

If you need accommodations or assistance due to a disability, please reach out to us using this form . This information will be treated as confidential and used only for the purpose of determining an appropriate accommodation for the interview process.

At HubSpot, we value both flexibility and connection. Whether you're a Remote employee, or work from the Office, we want you to start your journey here by building strong connections with your team and peers.

If you are joining our Engineering team in a full-time role, you will be required to attend a regional HubSpot office for in-person onboarding. If you join our broader Product team, you'll also attend other in-person events such as HubSpot's annual PEER week, your Product Group Summit, and other in-person gatherings to continue building on those connections.

If you require an accommodation due to travel limitations or other reasons, please inform your recruiter during the hiring process. We are committed to supporting candidates who may need alternative arrangements.
