Financial Analyst - Strategic Sales Finance

As a Financial Analyst, you will leverage your skills to evaluate customer profitability and analyze margins, playing a pivotal role in guiding deal economics decisions. You'll work on building and supporting the reports and tools that provide critical insights into customer profitability. You'll also have the chance to develop predictive models with input from Deal Desk to keep customer profitability on track and make necessary adjustments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer and Deal Profitability Analysis: Analyze customer profitability and margin results to support strategic decision-making for the leadership team.
- Reporting and Tools Support: Develop and maintain comprehensive reports, templates, and tools to provide valuable insights on customer profitability.
- Collaboration and Process Improvement: Collaborate with business partners to enhance processes and implement automation tools for better efficiency.
- Predictive Modeling: Build profitability and predictive models using Deal Desk inputs and conduct thorough post-onboarding customer profitability evaluations.
- Cross-functional Partnership: Work closely with the COGS team to understand product margin impacts and partner with the Deal Desk to address customer needs while maintaining HubSpot's margin integrity.
We are looking for people who:
- Some experience in finance, accounting, or related fields, potentially from an internship or entry-level position.
- Basic financial modeling skills using spreadsheets and various data sources.
- Willingness to learn how to partner with stakeholders and develop the confidence to challenge ideas when needed.
- Quantitative abilities to analyze financial data and identify trends with guidance.
- Good communication skills, able to present insights effectively to non-technical audiences.
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in analysis and reporting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to clearly convey financial information.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with support from your team.
- Experience working in team environments and collaborating across departments.
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Cash compensation range: 79200-118800 USD Annually

The cash compensation above includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot's bonus plan for eligible roles.
