HubSpot is looking for a Benefits Manager to join our People Team. This position will be responsible for leading the design and daily administration of HubSpot's AMER benefit programs. We are looking for someone who can balance being hands-on with day-to-day priorities and also has a strong strategic approach and vision for the design and administration of best in class global benefits programs.

Responsibilities:

Benefits Administration:

  • Oversee & administer HubSpot's benefit programs throughout AMER and LATAM region (US, Canada, and Colombia) including health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, retirement plans, and other offerings.
  • Ensure programs are administered accurately and efficiently, including vendor management and audits/reconciliation.
  • Implement new automation, operational, and process improvements.

Strategy and Design:
  • Evaluate competitiveness of programs and recommend innovative benefits solutions (within budget constraints) to meet the needs of a diverse, multi-generational workforce.
  • Develop regional benefits strategies aligned with the company's overall goals and market competitiveness.

Compliance and Governance:
  • Ensure all benefits programs comply with regional laws and regulations (e.g. ACA, ERISA, COBRA, and local requirements).
  • Stay current with legal and regulatory changes and implement necessary updates.

Employee Engagement and Communication:
  • Lead communication strategies to educate employees about their benefits, including open enrollment, plan changes, and wellness initiatives.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employees, resolving complex benefits issues promptly and professionally.

Vendor and Budget Management:
  • Partner with brokers to negotiate contracts, monitor performance, and ensure quality service delivery.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to develop and manage the benefits budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions.

Leadership and Collaboration:
  • Manage and mentor administrative and regional benefits staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g. CEBS, PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP) are a plus.
  • 7+ years of experience in benefits management, design, and administration experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of benefits compliance requirements and best practices in the Americas region.
  • Strong project management skills and proven ability to manage and execute multiple, complex projects, budgets, and vendor relationships.
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data to inform decisions.
  • Exceptional collaboration, communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on employee experience and stakeholder collaboration.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience managing and developing teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Workday experience is a plus.
  • Strong customer service focus with ability to work with confidential information and consistently exercise good judgment.


Cash compensation range: 124600-199400 USD Annually

The cash compensation above includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot's bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, some roles are eligible to participate in HubSpot's equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
