General Description:
The Video Content Creator produces impactful company video content for use internally and externally. From pre-production planning to production and editing to managing review and approval processes, this role encompasses all phases of video creation.

Essential Duties:
Perform as a visual storyteller to illustrate the company's brand, culture and achievements by creating, producing and updating multimedia content for internal and external audiences
Create a variety of content to communicate different messages and achieve various business goals, including short-form posts, stills, infographics, and videos
Produce, schedule, shoot, ingest, edit, deliver content independently and cooperatively

Address stakeholder feedback to projects in progress and manage content through review and approval cycles
Repurpose and curate content for use in HRL's digital channels
Manage creative projects and assignments ad-hoc
Assist in A/V support for special events
Adhere to established company brand guidelines
Other duties as assigned

Required Skills:
Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite: Premiere, After Effects, Media Encoder, Photoshop & Illustrator
Expertise with various camera systems: from DSLR to Camcorders to RED Cameras and Red Cameras workflow.
3+ years of video production experience
Experience with audio engineering and audio recording with shotgun mics, zoom recorders and lavalier mics.
Ability to create content from concept to delivery
Ability to create short digital stories on the fly (news style)
Ability to conceptualize and produce short teasers for social media
On-set experience and understanding of set protocols
Ability to quickly learn and implement new procedures, software, and technologies.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Excellent project management, prioritization, and organizational skills
Must be able to work within the very structured environment of a Government Contractor Facility
Commitment to excellence. Performs duties at the highest level possible on a consistent basis.

Required Education:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift at least 50+ pounds

Special Requirements:
US Person
Must have adequate form of transportation to transport video gear from campus to campus

Compensation:
The base salary range for this full-time position is $70,860 - $86,413 + bonus + benefits.

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
