General Description:
This position reports to the Industrial Security Manager and will support/lead all aspects of a classified program(s) with minimal oversight and supervision. Candidates must be well versed in SCI and Collateral security disciplines to include applicable policy and regulations associated with each. Candidate must be able to function well within a team setting and be willing to instruct and lead junior members of the HRL Security team when required. This position offers great opportunity for an experienced security professional to grow and expand their knowledge and skillset while working with a great collaborative team.
Essential Duties:
Security Administration:
Draft, maintain, and administer Standard Operating Procedures;

Update security databases on classified and unclassified systems;
Interface with internal and external customers in support of program-related activities;
Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure mission success and compliance
Compliance Analysis
Review and assess contractual requirements and create and implement processes that meet both customer requirements and HRL standards.
Lead internal audits of classified programs to ensure compliance and best practices are implemented;
Participate and represent HRL in external audits conducted by USG;
Write recommendations for corrective actions or improvements to security program that are based on HRL's operating environment and complies with all USG policies and directives;
Security Education:
Conduct security briefings to staff;
Creation of security education material that is effective and relevant to HRL;
Mentorship of junior members
Other duties as assigned
Required Skills:
Minimum of 4 years' as a CPSO, CSSO, CSO, or FSO
Prior experience in military, law enforcement, or security
Experience with security system to include: Intrusion Detection, Access Control, SIMS, DISS, NISS
Highly Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Proficiency with Service Now or other similar ticketing applications.
Subject matter expertise in ICDs, 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM), DoD manuals, and other applicable guiding documents is required.
Completion of DCSA CDSE FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities.
DCSA CDSE SFPC/SPSC or NCMS ISP certification(s) preferred.
Candidate must be as self-starter requiring minimal supervision. Superb time management and organizational skills and the ability to multi-task are required. Must have the ability to brief large groups. Needs strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor junior members
Required Education:
Bachelors in related field such as Security Management; will consider other degrees and experience in lieu of degree.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit and use computers for extended periods of time.
Ability to lift and carry 30 pounds. Ability to use a ladder and traverse construction sites.
Special Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen.
Must possess and maintain a current Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
Must be able to successfully pass a polygraph examination.
Compensation:
The base salary range for this full-time position is $120,715 - $150,895 + bonus + benefits.
