Gene-Wei Li's lab is seeking an adventurous and organized Research Specialist to pilot high-risk projects and assist with lab training and management. The Li lab aims to understand how cells achieve precise levels of gene expression. They use bacterial model organisms and develop high-throughput, quantitative assays to probe the function of DNA sequences. Solving this problem will transform our ability to use powerful DNA sequencing to predict mutational consequences, as well as leveraging DNA editing to robustly engineer cellular functions. For more information about the lab check out: https://biology.mit.edu/profile/gene-wei-li/
