What You Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computational biology, biology, mathematics, physics, engineering, or a similar major.
• Linus command-line operations, shell and awk scripting.
• Workflow development using YAML or equivalent tools.
• Programming language: R with R Shiny
• Web development using the Apache web server, Django framework and SQLite database or equivalent tools.
• An interest in biomedical research, particularly stems cells and cancer.

Preferred experience:

• Experience in using a computer cluster/cloud for parallel computing.
• Experience in bioinformatics/biostatistical data analysis.
• Experience in biomedical research.

Physical Requirements

Remaining in a normal seated or standing position for extended periods of time; reaching and grasping by extending hand(s) or arm(s); dexterity to manipulate objects with fingers, for example using a keyboard; communication skills using the spoken word; ability to see and hear within normal parameters; ability to move about workspace. $57,400.00 (minimum) - $71,711.00 (midpoint) - $93,200.00 (maximum)
