The Business Analyst acts as a bridge between our business partners and report developers. This role is responsible for collecting, evaluating, understanding, and communicating business requirements for the development of new enterprise business applications or the modification and ongoing support of existing ones.

Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in requirements gathering, testing, training, implementation, and support of enterprise-wide business applications.
• Solicit business requirements through interviews, workshops, and existing system documentation or procedures.
• Use industry-standard analysis techniques such as journey mapping, data flow modeling, use-case analysis, and workflow analysis to uncover business requirements.
• Document the results of analysis activities using appropriate templates and tools.
• Make recommendations regarding necessary changes on deliverables expected from other groups.
• Work with development teams to ensure an integrated business solution.
• Assume the responsibility of project manager for projects that are limited in scope and generally involve modifications to an existing application.
• Demonstrate a clear understanding of FM's business and business processes.
Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2+ years of general business analysis experience.
• Knowledge of techniques and tools used in functional design, data analysis, and data flow diagramming.
• Familiarity with FM’s current/planned technological environment and the appropriate technologies, tools, and techniques used to solve business problems.
Technical Skills:
• Experience in gathering requirements, functional design, and working with business processes.
• Proven ability to work in technical environments that utilize tools for data flow diagramming, data analysis, issue tracking, and documentation/presentation.
• Familiarity with development and deployment of AI/ML models is a plus.
Soft Skills:
• Proven ability to multi-task and establish priorities.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral/written communication, and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with Design Thinking methodology and journey mapping processes is a plus.
Compensation, Grade, and Job Title will be determined based on qualifications, experience, and technical skill-set. Candidates will be considered for the following roles based on experience.
Business Analyst Grade 12
-Requires 2+ years of general business analysis experience.
Business Analyst II Grade 13
-Requires 2+ years of general business analysis experience.
Senior Business Analyst Grade 14
-Requires 4+ years of general business analysis experience.
Lead Business Analyst Grade 15
-Requires 6+ years of general business analysis experience, with 2+ years experience in project management.
