The ideal candidate must enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced business environment. Mission Statement:

Responsible for administrating, consulting and/or negotiating product/service contracts with external customers. Develops pre-sales contract strategies and works closely with marketing, sales, and business management teams to structure proposals/contracts/bid documents. Negotiates contracts that are consistent with business objectives and engages in contract amendments and renegotiation to accommodate scope changes. Ensures fulfilment of contractual obligations from contracting parties. Does not require the incumbent to have legal qualification A Senior Para-Professional (S3) requires broad knowledge of operational procedures and tools obtained through extensive work experience and may require vocational or technical education. May require the following proficiency:. Works under limited supervision for routine situations. Provides assistance and training to lower level employees. Problems typically are not routine and require analysis to understand.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Recording and maintain enquiry register on regular basis.
  • Review customer's bid documents, technical specification and requirements, identifies the scope of supply/ service, prepares list of technical deviations and clarifications.
  • Prepare Timely and comprehensive pre-bid documentation
  • Determine most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions.
  • Getting backup data, quotations from internal stakeholders, vendors, contractors, etc.
  • Close co-ordination and conduct necessary meetings with internal stakeholders (engineering, legal, operations, etc.) as well other business units.
  • Identifies potential risks in the bids/ estimates/ quotations/ solutions proposed.
  • Ensure all pre-tender processes and proposals follow relevant Hitachi Energy Procedures and guidelines, rationalize terms and conditions
  • Creation of Sale order in SAP with associated activities, on receipt of order from Customer.
  • Preparing post order documentation and following applicable commercial processes prior to handover.
  • Maintaining all documentation in hard and soft formats appropriately.
  • Lost proposal analysis to obtain better future bidding
  • Know-how sharing & cross-function collaboration.
  • Accountable for technical expertise and quality & accuracy of the deliverables

Your Background:

  • A bachelor's degree in electrical/ mechanical engineering or related discipline.
  • Candidate should have 2 to 6 years of professional work experience in power product & service tendering/ proposal preparation (technical & commercial).
  • Knowledge in transformers operation and maintenance and digital products is preferred
  • Must have experience and skill to prepare and support Bid Process.
  • Individual contributor using in-depth knowledge and putting extra efforts in specific area to execute complex or specialized tenders/ challenges
  • Customer and market oriented. Being technical, analytical, proactive & innovative, solution & target oriented.
  • A team player, sincere, committed, honest and positive attitude.
  • Proficiency in technical tools such as MS-Office and Salesforce
  • Knowledge and experience in SAP.
  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required
