Team Leader Structural Engineering

Currently we are looking for a suitable candidate to fulfill the role of successful and independent lead and development of the PGHV Engineering team in Czech Republic.

You will engage in cooperation with the engineering departments and ensure the development of 10 employees.

The biggest focus of the opening is not only on managing and leading a team of engineers, but mainly organizational skills leading to on time and quality outputs within the global project chain.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Make a technical management/leadership of projects and project teams with responsibility for costs and deadlines.
• Determining the system architecture and concepts for customer projects.
• Responsible for the technical solution, conforming to the specification and its execution. Process clarification regarding interfaces and function
• Ensuring consistency of technical concepts within the process of the project for engineering, testing, manufacture and commissioning.
• Presenting the technical solution to (international) customers.
• Definition of work packets, assignment in agreement with project leader/manager.
• Coordination and managing technical work, monitoring work development, ensuring delivery shares of sub-suppliers and partners involved.
• Leading internal project as well as training other members of staff in a specific area of expertise

• University degree in technical area
• Experience leading an engineering or technical oriented team (experience in field of planning, leadership, and project leading)
• Knowledge of MS Office, CAD SWs
• English language skills at least B2
• Organizational and communication skills
• Ability to lead and develop a team of engineers
• Positive, active and self-starting approach to work
• Entrepreneurial drive and independent work style
