As a Supply Chain Specialist you will be a key function in driving and coordinating strategic sourcing activities together with our suppliers and internal interfaces such as design, sales, production and operational purchasing. We are looking for a variety of people to join our team so don't hesitate to apply even though you don't meet all requirements. Your responsibilities
- Manage project-based procurement with a total cost focus and collaborate with stakeholders across the whole supply chain
- Maintain and develop your supply base from a quality and sustainability perspective and make sure they are in line with Hitachi Energy standards
- Coordinate sourcing strategies internally and with the global supply chain organization to ensure readiness in the supply chain for our ramp up
- Be the speaking partner between suppliers and internal functions. Work together with stakeholders to find more cost-efficient and reliable solutions and setups
- Implement both long- and short-term solutions to further improve our suppliers in terms of quality, delivery and cost
- Coordinate, collaborate and support the business in SCM related topics.

Your background
- You are a curious person with the drive to challenge yourself and the organization for continuous improvement
- You like to work in a structured way and to lead your projects independently
- You are a communicative person who enjoys working with people from various business areas and parts of the world
- You preferably hold a degree in Engineering, Economics or Business administration
- Experience in Supply Chain Management, Sales or Logistics is a plus
- Interest and experience of working in projects is preferable to succeed in the role
- As you will be part of a company that operates on a global arena, proficiency in English is required.
