Your Responsibilities:
- You will drive profitable business order intake and pipeline growth for GES and PCP (formerly "eks") within APAC and lead the APAC regional sales teams.
- You will focuses & develop strategic partnerships to build long term value and sustainable success for both Hitachi Energy and the customer.
- You will increase win-rate, margin and repetitive business through early positioning and strategic alignment with customers during project development phase.
- You will work closely with Field Marketing to develop enablement plans and marketing campaigns focused on existing and net new pipeline generation.
- You will motivate and support your team in reaching the team targets with predictability.
- You will lead a strong alignment between GES, PCP and Hub management.
- You will understand the implicit and explicit requirements and navigate these from a techno-commercial perspective.
- You will understand key market dynamics and know to operate in each of them Utility, IPP, Developers, Integrators, C&I, EPCs.
- You will be able to visualize the technical requirements communicated by various departments of a prospective client, synthesize these into a compelling solution for the client.

Your background:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent - Engineering, Business/Economics or Information Systems degrees preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of grid edge solutions or energy related industry experience with knowledge of the industry landscape, prospective customers, and business network.
- Proven track record of direct or virtual people management
- Strong sales and management experience (both direct and indirect)
- Previous experience in leading a remote international (sales) team in APAC.
- Automation, power generation or comparable market space, competitors, trends and related industries
- A proven track record of managing an international team
- Excellent English language skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities and the ability to deliver professional and persuasive presentations.
- Excellent time management, decision-making, presentation, relationship-building, and organizational skills Business networks, and clients contacts in the APAC region is a plus.
- Willingness to travel 30% of time or as required
