The opportunity
We are looking for a talented Software Developer to join our team and drive innovation for our Digital Twin solutions, mainly IdentiQ. In this role, you will work closely with the BIM (Building Information Modeling) and AIM (Asset Information Management) teams to enhance 3D and 2D design automation through AI-driven approaches. You will also work and collaborate closely with R&D and Product Owners to continuously improve internal efficiency and contribute to the growth of our digital capabilities within HVDC.

How you'll make an impact
- Design, implement, and improve features and functionalities for our Digital Twin solution IdentiQ.
- Be part of strategic alignments with the BIM and AIM teams to identify areas of innovation and project execution efficiency
- Work cross-functionally with R&D and Service teams to identify customer pain points in terms of Operations & Maintenance
- Investigate and implement AI to automate design processes and documentation, optimize workflows and reduce manual efforts.
- Engage with the Product Owner to prioritize features and improvements, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business objectives.
- Stay updated with new technologies and propose innovations for efficiency and scalability of the product.
- Deliver high-quality, maintainable and well-documented code and follow best practices for development and testing.
- Quickly diagnose and resolve software bugs and system issues.
Your Background
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in software development, preferably within Digital Twin technology, or related solutions.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, C#, JavaScript, React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, Basic DevOps, and familiarity and/or experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong ability to communicate in English and to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Flexible attitude and curious to explore new methods and solutions to problems.
- Familiarity with AI, machine learning, and automation techniques, particularly as they apply to design automation and execution efficiency.
- Bonus if you have experience from Asset Management or other maintenance systems development within the energy sector
