The opportunity
Join the Service Integration Team as an Entry Project management professional to support the growth of the Project management function and to deliver ServiceNow related projects within the Service Integration Portfolio. In this role you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders from various functions/business units to manage projects which align with business objectives and priorities.
How you will make an impact
- Lead project tasks using waterfall and agile project methodologies
- Manage the projects, including budgeting, task prioritization, estimates, team allocation and timelines to ensure delivery on-time
- Understand business requirements and coordinate translation into technical requirements and maintain dialogue with all stakeholders
- Develop and manage project plans to deliver project outcomes according to business value
- Facilitate and coordinate communication with internal and external suppliers contributing to projects
- Identify and manage risks and issues, including escalations
- Create project status reports
- Ensure adherence to Hitachi Energy delivery methodology, including project controls and gate model
- Monitor project budgets and forecasts, report the project expenses and variations
- Support process improvements and promote best project management practices
- Support projects management in SPM using waterfall and agile project methodologies
- Provide support in tracking project schedules, resources, deliverables, and risks
- Maintain project documentation, including meeting minutes, action items, and project status reports
- Enhance department visibility and communication by managing Viva Engage platform
- Support IT demand management process for Service Integration
- Maintain PMO artifacts, key department documentation, distribution groups and project management trainings
- Ensure adherence to Hitachi Energy delivery methodology, including project controls, governance processes and gate model
- Support process improvements and promote best project management practices

Your background
- Understanding of different Agile frameworks (SCRUM, Kanban, SAFe) and Agile certifications (SCRUM PSM I, CSM) are welcome
- Understanding of Lean Six Sigma concepts and DMAIC cycle are welcome
- Understanding of ITIL V3 and/or V4
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent people skills: team building and motivation, facilitation, and conflict resolution,
- Highly organized with attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a matrixed organization
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and resistance to change
- Comfortable working with remote team members across multiple time zones
